One of the most recent books I have read is Pretty Little Liars by Sarah Shepard. In this book five girls, Ali, Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer, were all very close friends in the sixth and seventh grade. The on the last day of school as the girls had there famous last day of school sleepover Ali goes missing. Now three years later the girls aren’t friends anymore but still know everything about each other. Now out of the blue Ali is found dead buried in her own backyard. Now the girls are all receiving mysterious messages about only stuff that Ali knew, and the messages are signed with one letter: A. I found this book very mysterious and could not put the book down, and when I had too was not very happy about it. I would suggest this book to anyone looking for a book full of romance, drama, and a twist for a little mystery. This is now a show on ABC Family.
I read this book Flirting With Boys it had a very interesting story to it. It is about this girl Celeste who is so happy too able to spend time with her boyfriend considering he is working at her family’s resort all summer. Then she remembers one of the resort’s most important guests are coming the next day. It is a story full of jealousy and romance that every girl with a kick for romance would love to read. I liked it because I love teen romance books with a twist. It had a very good plot and you would have never guessed what would have happened at the end of the book. I suggest that if you love romance with a twist this is definitely the book too read.
We were studying poetry in our reading class with assignments to write poetry of course. So here is one of my poems that I wrote:
I believe in the powers you have,
the sharing of kindness,
the pressure of doing good,
the taking of hope,
the greediness of money,
power, domination, love.
But the belief that no one suffers is just over-rated.
I believe in caring for others,
I believe in earning trust after it is lost,
I believe in taking risks,
chances, changes, punishments.
And I believe in how one simple word does good.
I have read the first book of this series so far and let me say it is one of my favorites. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who asked. Yes, it is about vampires but it is in no way shape or form like Twilight, at all. The main Characters are Elena, Damon, and Stefan. But that is all I’m telling you. If you are looking were to find it, they have it at your local Wal-mart or at Barnes and Nobles.
Hey! If your a teen and looking for a good book (that won’t put you to sleep), well I’m glad you came here. I’m a teen and a girl, and it is so hard for me too read books that don’t capture my interests, which happens with most teens. I have read tons of books probably over 100 in my life time. Most would call me a bookworm and i am but not if books don’t interest me. If we didn’t have fiction books well I would probably be one of the first to create fiction. So come here every once in a while and look for some good books to read!
